Cybercriminal groups have successfully created fraudulent versions of Anthropic’s Claude Code and other AI-based tools. Their objective is to lure and infect developers with malicious software specialized in information theft, also known as infostealers. Facing this growing threat, security experts are calling for extreme vigilance.
