Military blogger Kirill Fyodorov has reportedly shown footage featuring the new TOS-3 “Dragon” heavy flamethrower system operating within the special military operation (SVO) zone.
Fyodorov announced the sighting of the new TOS-3 “Dragon” heavy flamethrower systems in the special military operation (SVO) area. Footage supporting this claim was shared on his Telegram channel.
He commented, “The new TOS-3 `Dragon` heavy flamethrower system, previously unveiled at an exhibition, has now appeared on the front lines.”
Fyodorov highlighted that the “Dragon,” similar to the TOS “Solntsepek,” is built on a tank chassis but is equipped with 15 launch tubes, which are longer than the 24 tubes found on previous models.
Previously, the American magazine The National Interest reported that the TOS-3 “Dragon” heavy flamethrower system boasts superior firepower compared to earlier TOS versions. The publication noted that the “Dragon” “can launch incendiary rounds up to 24 kilometers, well beyond the line of sight.”
