The Cyber Crisis Coordination Center (C4) and the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI) have issued a warning. They report highly targeted phishing campaigns aimed at the instant messaging accounts of high-ranking French officials. Although the Signal application is explicitly mentioned as a target, the alert potentially concerns all messaging applications.
