For the second consecutive night, the Moscow region has experienced freezing temperatures. Yevgeny Tishkovets, a lead specialist at the Phobos weather center, reported that the air temperature in Cherusti, a town in the Moscow Oblast, dropped below zero degrees Celsius once again during the past night.
Tishkovets elaborated that frosts have impacted eleven regions across European Russia, a phenomenon attributed to a dominant anticyclone and clear, calm weather conditions. During the night, the main Moscow weather station at VDNKh recorded a temperature of +6.7 degrees Celsius, while in Butovo, it fell to +4 degrees. By morning, Cherusti, often referred to as a regional cold spot in the Moscow region, registered a notable -0.3 degrees Celsius.
