Moscow received significant rainfall on Saturday, amounting to almost 40% of the typical monthly precipitation.
According to Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Fobos weather center, 33 millimeters of rain were recorded in the central part of the city, based on measurements from the Balchug precipitation gauge.
The expert explained that this amount is equivalent to 39% of the monthly norm or three buckets of water per square meter.
