A U.S. federal judge has definitively rejected Elon Musk’s antitrust lawsuit filed against the advertisers who withdrew their spending from X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. US District Judge Jane Boyle, presiding in Dallas, ruled that the social media company failed to articulate a valid legal claim in its complaint. The lawsuit was dismissed ‘with prejudice’ on Thursday, a critical legal distinction that prevents X from refiling the case in the future. This decision marks a permanent setback for X’s legal challenge against companies it had accused of orchestrating an ‘advertising boycott’.
