Attorney Ruben Markaryan has confirmed that the manufacturing and distribution of the popular medications Miramistin and Okomistin are not at risk. This statement comes amidst recent discussions regarding potential restrictions on their availability. Markaryan clarified that LLC Infamed, the company holding the registration certificates for both Miramistin and Okomistin, is not directly involved in their physical production.
LLC Infamed is not the manufacturer of the drug; rather, it is the owner of the registration certificates for the Miramistin and Okomistin solution medicinal products and has the right to use the trademarks based on a license agreement.
The lawyer explained that a ruling by the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region only prohibits the owners of LLC Infamed from alienating or otherwise disposing of the company`s property and property rights, which include the rights to the registration certificates for Miramistin and Okomistin. Crucially, this court decision does not impose any ban on the actual production or sale of these pharmaceuticals.
“The production of the drug is not threatened today,” the attorney added, reiterating the stability of the supply. According to Markaryan, the ongoing legal dispute “does not jeopardize the production and successful sale of the preparations.”
