According to the draft federal budget of the Social Fund of Russia for 2026–2028, the amount of maternity capital for a second child (or subsequent children, if the benefit for the first was not utilized) could reach 1,013,156.67 rubles by 2027.
The document specifies that for families whose second or subsequent child was born (or adopted) after January 1, 2020, and who have not previously received state support, the payments are projected as follows: 974,189.11 rubles in 2026, 1,013,156.67 rubles in 2027, and 1,053,682.94 rubles in 2028.
As for maternity capital for the first child, next year it is set to amount to 737,205.1 rubles, with a planned increase to 766,693.3 rubles in 2027 and to 797,361.03 rubles in 2028.
