Vyacheslav Fatin, Head of the Main Department for Diplomatic Corps Services (GlavUpDK) at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), has announced the commencement of the third intake for a specialized retraining program designed for veterans of the Special Military Operation (SMO).
Fatin revealed that two previous cycles of this program have already been successfully conducted at the Odintsovo branch of MGIMO University, with 32 veterans having completed their training to date.
The program, formally known as “Urban Infrastructure and Territory Development Management,” is a comprehensive additional professional education course. It aims to equip its graduates with the necessary skills to manage regional and urban economies at various administrative levels.
Preparations for the upcoming third intake are already in full swing, a collaborative effort between MGIMO, the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland,” and GlavUpDK. This next phase of training is scheduled to begin in January of the coming year.
