Official data on birth registrations in Russia for 2025 indicates that the number of boys born surpassed that of girls. The proportion of male births was 51%, while female births accounted for 49%.
The total number of registered births for the current year reached 1,161,411, confirming the 51% to 49% boy-to-girl ratio.
Comparatively, statistics from the previous year showed an even more pronounced prevalence of male births, with 52% boys and 48% girls.
