Phobos Specialist Leus Predicts Dry Conditions and Up to +20°C for Moscow on Thursday

On Thursday, Moscow residents can expect clear weather with temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees Celsius. Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the `Phobos` weather center, provided this forecast.
He explained that the change in the weather situation is due to the northern periphery of an anticyclone shifting from Europe towards the Volga region. Consequently, Moscow and the surrounding area will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Daytime temperatures in the capital are expected to range from +18 to +20 degrees Celsius, and from +16 to +21 degrees Celsius in the wider region.
Leus also noted a south-westerly wind blowing at 4-9 meters per second, with occasional gusts up to 10-13 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will remain relatively stable, slightly above normal, at 750 millimeters of mercury.
