Since 2023, nearly 3,000 wives and children of Special Military Operation (SVO) participants in Moscow have successfully completed professional retraining programs. Over 75% of these graduates have already secured employment, as announced by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

Sobyanin emphasized that Moscow provides comprehensive support to SVO participants and their families, with a key focus on professional development and employment assistance. Each applicant receives a personalized career development plan tailored to their individual history, experience, and needs. These retraining programs are highly sought after by both the wives and children of service members.

Moscow`s SVO participants have access to free training courses in high-demand fields across various economic sectors, including industry, IT, transport, and construction. The most popular courses include CNC machine operators, UAV operators, security specialists, data analysts, and programmers.

The Mayor also stated that at the `Voronovskoye` clinical center, service members undergoing treatment and rehabilitation can restore and enhance their driving skills through individual lessons with instructors and driving simulators. Additionally, a specialized program has been launched to train driving instructors from among SVO participants who have undergone amputation.

Furthermore, since June 2025, `Voronovskoye` has been offering training sessions and online courses on financial literacy, online safety fundamentals, digital and communication skill development, and artificial intelligence usage. To date, over 650 service members have attended these courses, with more than 3,000 individual sessions conducted for them.
