The agency advises that if confidential data has just been disclosed, it is crucial to immediately change passwords and access codes for banking services, as well as to temporarily freeze all bank cards and accounts. It is also extremely important to contact your bank without delay, using the number provided on your bank card.
If a mobile phone number has been stolen or compromised, it is necessary to inform your mobile operator about potential unauthorized access. The MVD further recommended linking all online services, social media, and messaging apps to a new, secure phone number.
