Vladivostok. Unique footage from a camera trap in Primorye has captured a female Amur tiger and her three playful cubs enjoying “mud baths.” This delightful sight was reported by the “Land of the Leopard” nature reserves directorate.

“Even in the wild, babies remain babies: it`s as if they didn`t hear any prohibitions and happily rolled around in the mud up to their paws. The three little rascals eagerly took mud baths, while their mother remained perfectly clean. The video shows tigress T61F; apparently, she has remarkable patience, as she is raising three cubs at once, whose age at the time of filming was 6-7 months,” states the official announcement.

Reserve staff explained that water sources in this area are frequently visited by deer, which accounts for the presence of tigers hunting them. The captivating video was filmed within the “Land of the Leopard” National Park, highlighting the dynamic ecosystem of the region.
