Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has concluded an extensive working visit to the Far Eastern and Siberian regions. The Omsk region marked the final destination of this significant tour. During a government meeting, Mishustin underscored the primary achievements and outcomes of his trip.

Focus on Amur Region Development
In the Amur region, the Prime Minister conducted an inspection of the ongoing reconstruction of the airport terminal. He also reviewed the expansion efforts for the access road leading to the airport. Furthermore, he familiarized himself with the operational aspects of the customs and logistics terminal, as well as the Kani-Kurgan border crossing point, situated on the frontier with the People`s Republic of China.
Initiatives in Zabaykalsky Krai and Altai
During his visit to the Zabaykalsky Krai, several meetings were convened to address strategies for boosting grain exports. Mishustin`s itinerary also included a visit to the perinatal center in Chita, where discussions centered on plans for comprehensive capital repairs and the construction of new, state-of-the-art medical facilities. Throughout his working trips to the Altai Republic and Altai Krai, a primary focus was placed on enhancing the healthcare infrastructure and improving transport accessibility. The head of the cabinet notably emphasized projects designed to strengthen regional transport connectivity and stimulate socio-economic development.
