Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko reported to President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin, focusing on key aspects of the `Gosuslugi` (State Services) portal development and strategies to combat fraud.
Digital Government Services (Gosuslugi)
Grigorenko highlighted the widespread adoption of the Gosuslugi portal, stating that 14 million Russian citizens utilize the service daily. Additionally, Multi-Functional Centers (MFCs) see approximately 540-550 thousand visitors each day.
“It`s a crossroads where over 1,600 different state services and functions can currently be obtained digitally. This is truly very convenient, very simple, and citizens have a strong demand for the portal`s further development.”
In 2025, more than two million individuals successfully availed themselves of the “university admission online” service, demonstrating the platform`s growing utility. Efforts are currently underway to further integrate state services into “life situations,” encompassing diverse scenarios such as document loss, relocation to another region, or property re-planning.
These transformative initiatives have yielded significant results:
- The average service delivery time has been reduced by 35%.
- The volume of required documents has decreased by one-third.
- The necessity for in-person visits has fallen by two-thirds.
Combating Fraud
The Deputy Prime Minister also underscored the critical importance of combating fraud and urged citizens to remain vigilant against deceptive schemes. He offered practical advice:
“I would like to appeal to our citizens to understand that for any call from an unfamiliar number, it is better to call back or hang up and then verify that it is not fraudsters.”
