Yaroslav Nilov, who chairs the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy, has put forward a proposal for companies located in Russia`s regions to establish specialized vocational guidance centers. The primary aim of these centers would be to assist in the employment and professional integration of individuals who have become disabled as a result of their participation in military operations.

Speaking during a session of the Presidium of the Council of Legislators attached to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Nilov underscored the necessity of this step. He stated, “It is absolutely crucial to recommend that enterprises in the regions open vocational guidance centers on their premises, specifically with the goal of employing combat veterans with disabilities.” This initiative seeks to provide essential support and new career pathways for veterans facing challenges in the civilian job market.
