Preview Russian Engineers Create New Reusable Drone “Bulldog-13” for Military Operations

Russian engineers have successfully developed an innovative reusable drone named “Bulldog-13”, specifically designed for the Russian Armed Forces. This advanced UAV is equipped with both day and night vision cameras and is currently undergoing rigorous trials in active combat zones. The development and testing were confirmed by an FPV drone engineer from the 10th Separate Tank Regiment of the Southern Military District, who operates under the call sign “Shustry.”

According to the serviceman, the “Bulldog-13” features a tiltable camera, similar in functionality to popular commercial drones like the Mavic series, and includes an integrated mechanism for deploying payloads. This design makes the drone inherently reusable, allowing it to serve as a versatile platform for various tactical operations, including the precise delivery of munitions.

Shustry further elaborated on the drone`s capabilities, stating that the “Bulldog-13” can carry a useful load of up to four kilograms. This significant payload capacity means the drone is not limited to combat applications; it can also be effectively used for logistical purposes, such as transporting provisions to assault teams or other personnel in areas that are otherwise inaccessible by ground transport.

The military official underscored the drone`s considerable potential, highlighting both its current technical specifications and its extensive upgrade possibilities. He mentioned a specific enhancement: if the drone is outfitted with a specialized drum designed to hold six grenade launcher munitions, the “Bulldog-13” would gain the ability to drop these munitions sequentially, enhancing its offensive capabilities.

An important feature of the “Bulldog-13” is its secure data transmission protocol, which boasts high resistance to interference and robust encryption. This advanced communication system significantly complicates any attempts by opposing forces to intercept or hijack control of the UAV, ensuring operational integrity and security.
