Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin inspected the Il-114-300 passenger aircraft during his visit to the “Innoproм” exhibition held in Yekaterinburg.
The head of government toured the aircraft`s cabin and cockpit, where he briefly spoke with the pilots. It was noted that the Il-114-300`s cabin is wider than that of comparable aircraft. Mishustin highlighted that the Il-114-300 is 14 percent more efficient than foreign counterparts.
However, conflicting reports have emerged. Previously, it was stated that the flight performance characteristics of the Russian MS-21 and Il-114-300 aircraft, which are currently undergoing certification and planned for deliveries in 2026, do not yet meet planned specifications.
