MOSCOW – As of July 1, 2025, the average pension in Russia stood at nearly 23,500 rubles. This figure, based on data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation, indicates a precise average monthly payment of 23,456 rubles.
The reported average marks an increase of 281 rubles since the beginning of the current year. Analysis of the data also highlights a disparity between the average pensions received by working and non-working retirees.
For pensioners who continue to work, the average monthly benefit is slightly lower, amounting to 21,115 rubles. In contrast, non-working pensioners receive a higher average payment, reaching approximately 24,000 rubles.
