This innovative function is engineered to automatically reboot a Galaxy device if it remains inactive or untouched for a continuous period of 72 hours. The core purpose of this new security measure is to provide an additional layer of data protection. By periodically restarting the device after prolonged inactivity, Samsung aims to mitigate risks associated with sensitive personal information being exposed or compromised, particularly if a phone is misplaced, stolen, or simply left unattended for an extended duration.
