
According to a report published by the Science Daily portal, the regular consumption of meat products may significantly lower the risk of developing oncological diseases.
The publication highlighted key findings, stating, “Ingesting foods rich in animal-derived proteins is not merely unrelated to an elevated risk of mortality, but it may actively confer protective properties against cancer.”
The comprehensive study, which formed the basis of these conclusions, involved an extensive analysis of data collected from nearly 16,000 participants, all aged 19 years and older. Researchers meticulously investigated the precise quantities of both animal and plant proteins within the participants` diets and subsequently assessed the correlation between these dietary patterns and the likelihood of developing either cardiovascular diseases or various forms of cancer.
Intriguingly, the findings unveiled a notable decrease in cancer-related mortality among those individuals who regularly incorporated more meat into their dietary regimen. The report underscored this revelation, concluding: “When synthesizing the data from both observational studies and rigorous clinical trials, it becomes unequivocally clear that a balanced intake of foods providing both animal and plant proteins plays a crucial role in promoting overall health and extending longevity.”
