In Moscow, July 19 – Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, has addressed Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko with a proposal to transfer certain services currently available exclusively at Multifunctional Centers (MFCs) to the client service branches of the Social Fund of Russia. Importantly, the option to receive these services at MFCs will be retained.

The letter from Nilov explicitly states: “I ask you to instruct a review of the possibility of transferring additional services, presently accessible only through Multifunctional Centers, to the Social Fund of Russia, while ensuring they remain available at MFCs.”

Nilov explained that during a recent working visit by a State Duma delegation to the Chechen Republic, a meeting was held with the regional Social Fund`s leadership.

The politician further noted that as early as 2023, during an away session of the committee in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, discussions took place regarding the prospect of integrating a broader range of social services into the Social Fund of Russia`s client branches. Currently, most of these services are predominantly available only at Multifunctional Centers for State and Municipal Services (MFCs) in many regions.

According to Nilov, this approach has already been successfully implemented in practice in Chechnya. Its positive experience has clearly demonstrated the high demand for the `single-window` principle among Social Fund clients.

The head of the Duma committee believes that the evident effectiveness of this project`s implementation in Chechnya offers a valuable opportunity to study its successful model for subsequent scaling across other Russian regions.
