The Tambov Regional Parliament has endorsed amendments to Article 3 of the regional law “On Municipal Service in the Tambov Region,” streamlining the employment process for veterans of the Special Military Operation (SVO), as reported by the regional Duma`s press service.
These significant changes were initially proposed by the Tambov Regional Duma`s legislative committee.
During a recent session, deputies gave their approval to the bill. They highlighted that this new legislation will facilitate the entry of SVO participants into municipal service and simultaneously assist in attracting new, qualified specialists to public administration roles.
Evgeny Matushkin, Chairman of the Tambov Regional Duma, stated: “SVO participants in the Tambov Region can now pursue leadership positions in municipal administration. Their employment has been simplified by reducing the required experience to just two years of municipal service or relevant professional experience in their field.”
