Movement across the bridge was temporarily suspended for almost three hours on Wednesday night, reopening at 01:48 Moscow time. According to data collected as of 02:00 Moscow time, 665 vehicles were queued on the Taman side, facing an estimated wait time exceeding two hours.
Concurrently, on the Kerch side of the bridge, 569 vehicles were stuck in traffic, with drivers expecting delays of approximately two hours. The widespread bottleneck affected travel for hundreds of individuals using the vital transport artery.
