RAM prices have soared, significantly dampening interest in PC purchases. While PC sales and shipments are projected to decline by over 10% this year and there’s no immediate sign of prices returning to normal, companies are launching new memory models to attract customers. Knowing that RGB is popular, ADATA has incorporated an “Infinity Mirror” effect into their XPG NOVAKEY RGB DDR5 memory modules.

RAM has transitioned from being a relatively inexpensive component to one of the most costly. Even basic memory models are not cheap, a reality we must accept. The high demand from the AI industry, coupled with supply chain challenges, is contributing to the current scarcity and high prices. Therefore, if one is going to buy expensive RAM, it’s logical to expect it to have an interesting heatsink and aesthetic, which seems to be ADATA’s approach.

ADATA Celebrates 25th Anniversary with XPG NOVAKEY RGB DDR5 Memory Featuring Infinity Mirror Lighting and Speeds Up to 6,400 MT/s

ADATA, a brand known for its cost-effective SATA and M.2 SSDs, also produces memory. With these new modules, they are opting for more distinctive designs compared to their basic SSDs. The ADATA XPG NOVAKEY RGB DDR5 modules are unique with their proprietary “infinity mirror design.” While at first glance they might not exhibit the expansive infinite mirror effect seen on PC cases or graphics cards like the ZOTAC GAMING RTX 5090 AMP Extreme INFINITY (which we reviewed), the effect is present.

We must trust that it doesn’t use the same type of design, and the infinite mirror is the rectangle located on the top of the memory module, surrounded by typical RGB lighting. According to ADATA, this memory features a three-dimensional lighting effect and a heatsink with a brushed aluminum finish.

Memory Modules Available in 16GB Capacity, 6,400 MT/s Speeds, and Low Latency

Each ADATA XPG NOVAKEY RGB DDR5 module is available in a 16GB capacity, or as a two-module kit totaling 32GB. They utilize a 10-layer PCB and are offered at speeds of 5,600 MT/s, 6,000 MT/s, and 6,400 MT/s, with latencies as low as CL30. They are fully compatible with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, allowing for easy one-click overclocking from the motherboard.

These modules are manufactured using 50% recycled aluminum and 85% recycled plastic, and they come with a lifetime warranty. Official launch dates and final pricing for these memory modules are not yet known, but ADATA will officially unveil them at COMPUTEX 2026. The event will take place in Taipei starting June 2nd and concluding on June 5th, 2026.
