Brightness Analysis

Using our calibrator again, we measured the GIGABYTE MO27U2’s brightness at 100% to be 257 nits. It is therefore one of the few models that strictly adhere to its specifications, promising 250 nits and capable of reaching peaks of 1,000 nits in HDR content. While this may seem a bit low, in practice, more brightness isn’t necessary and exceeding it can even strain your eyes. Furthermore, it offers perfect brightness uniformity thanks to its OLED panel, eliminating the common defects of conventional LEDs.
