The company has faced criticism for its use of Big Data in AI, state surveillance, and data privacy concerns. In the current critical conflict, Ukraine seeks to exploit any advantage and has turned to Palantir to train and test its AI models for autonomous drones. This integration aims to enhance Ukraine’s capabilities in drone guidance and localization, GPS-denied navigation, detection of hidden enemies, and action analysis and prediction.
Over 100 Ukrainian Companies Access Brave1 Dataroom for AI Model Training
Ukraine’s strategy extends beyond Palantir, with efforts to foster international cooperation through the ‘Avengers Labs‘ platform. This initiative brings together Ukrainian and foreign companies to train AI models using millions of battlefield and mission-captured frames.
Furthermore, over 100 Ukrainian companies have access to Brave1 Dataroom, a data repository developed through the collaboration between Palantir and Ukraine. This platform provides these companies with access to visual battlefield data, enabling them to train and test advanced AI models. Practical applications of this technology have already been demonstrated in combat, with reports of automating up to 95% of the process from target interception to the destruction of enemy UAVs.
